As usual and highly appropriate I start with

hello! ..

It’s quite a while now, since I left Darwin on the 13th of May.
I lift here for quarter a year. Now I am in Broome in Western Australia.
In between many many miles.
I was on the road for 15 days.
After I left Darwin I dove into the stunning infinity of the ancient red continent and
headed towards the Litchfield National Park and world heritage listed Kakadu
NP.

Litchfield NP

Litchfield conveniently cloth to Darwin only 150Km with it’s spectacular waterfalls and waterholes and termite mounds.

Beautiful swimming spots stunning landscape and at the time I was there in the dry season lots of bush fires.

Florence Falls

Tolmer Falls

Wangi Falls

On the way to Kakadu Crocodiles…

Wild Crocs regularly fed with the stick as a tourist attraction.
What ever one thinks about it I couldn’t help it and had to see it. It was spectacular!

60 years old 5 and half meter big!

Kakadu NP

Again on the way just on the side of the roads bush fires.
Anyways the road led me to Jaibaru and to Ubirr in the very north of Kakadu which is a famous and absolute spectacular Aboriginal rock art spot!

(I lost most of the photos of that spot unfortunately)

Anbangbang Gallery

The last place accessible with a two wheel drive in Kakadu are the sublime Gunlom Falls with a big plunge pool at the bottom and a couple of pools on top and right at the edge of the fall besides two more smaller falls...

Gunlom Falls

Katherine Gorge NP.

With it’s gorgeous gorges haha had to say that.
I've done some walks and a canoe trip here indeed an amazing place.

Scenery on the road...

The last NP in Northern Territory area is located just at the border to WA.

Keep River NP

After that I entered Western Australia and the Kimberly's.

As well just at the border but on the WA site this time

Lake Argyle

Wolfe Creek Crater NP

More famous because of that stupid film that I still don’t want to watch is the Wolfe Ckreek Crater as well the second biggest meteorite crater in the world placed in the Great Sandy Desert.

Termite mounds all over the place...

I caught this sunset on the last day before Broome...
